Every Project at IBF HotRods Follows a Structured Process
This keeps projects clear, organized, and intentional from the first conversation to the final delivery.
Fit Conversation
Every project begins with a conversation.
Initial discussions are handled by phone or email to determine whether the project aligns with the work performed at IBF HotRods.
If the project appears to be a good fit, a shop visit may be scheduled.
IBF HotRods operates by appointment only.
Evaluation & Roadmap
Once a project appears to align, a more detailed evaluation may be recommended.
This allows the vehicle to be reviewed, and potential issues identified before work begins.
This may include:
• Mobile consultation if the vehicle cannot come to the shop
• Scheduled vehicle evaluation at the shop
The goal is to understand the condition of the vehicle and determine a realistic direction for the build.
Build Process
Once the project direction is clear, the vehicle enters the build phase.
Work is performed intentionally and in stages to maintain quality and focus.
During the build process, clients receive:
• Photo documentation of progress
• Updates on completed work
• Discussion of the next phase of work
Verification & Delivery
Before a vehicle leaves the shop, critical systems are reviewed to ensure proper operation.
This may include:
• Electrical system verification
• Cooling and charging checks
• Road testing where appropriate
When the project is complete, the client receives a walkthrough of the work performed and any important notes regarding the vehicle.
